Day 1: Introduction and Fundamental Concepts
The session initiates with an introduction, briefly uncovering the essence of all 30 pasurams. Exploring the concept of "rettai pAsurams" and their repetition significance, We’ll delve into the interconnectedness between Thiruppavai and significant epics like Ramayanam and Bhagavad-Gita. Pasurams 1-5 dissect the essence of identity, purpose, means for attainment, dos and don'ts, Varuna dhevan's command, and the purity concept illustrated by Andal.
Day 2: Awakening and Heart of Thiruppavai
From pasurams 6-15, Aandal awakens ten girls, paralleling the awakening of ten Azhwars. The discussion homes in on the 15th pasuram, regarded as the crux of Thiruppavai, with a special focus on the pivotal phrase "naane than ayiduga" and its significance.
Day 3: Exploration of Pasurams 16-25
This segment navigates through the Nayagan's identity and the expected demeanor of a Srivaishnava. Delving into the approach towards Kannan and the metaphorical representation of Kannan as a lion, parallels are drawn between Andal's homage to Kannan and Periyazhwar's similar devotion.
Day 4: Kannan's Birth, Attributes, and Andal's Aspirations
The final day encompasses the journey of Kannan from "Oruththi magan" to "Oruththi magan," exploring the characters of "Koodarai" and "Koodumavan," decoding the significance of Kannan's names, and unraveling the desires and aspirations of Andal. We’ll culminate by exploring Andal's identity and the significance of Selva Thirumal, concluding with Andal Kalyanam.
